A small introduction
Sheila is a graduate of the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland who is affiliated with the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is a World health organisation officially accredited body.
She studied under Dr Jin Huide and Dr Jidong Wu, who are both Professors of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also qualified in the techniques of cupping, moxibustion, auricular acupuncture, massage, and hopi ear candling.
Sheila continually enhances her knowledge and skills by attending relevant courses regularly.
She is currently undertaking a degree in Nutrition and Functional medicine with the Institute of Health Sciences in Dublin, a postgraduate course in TCM Gynaecology and obstetric lectured by Dr Trevor Wing, and Visceral manipulation courses run by the Barrel institute in Dublin.
Sheila has over 10 years experience in both working as a pharmacy technician and running a pharmacy.
This has given her a wealth of experience dealing with a wide range of both common and unusual illnesses, which has allowed her to gain a greater understanding of what her clients are experiencing and how it can effect them on both on a physical and emotional level. As every person is individual sheila draws on both her knowledge and experience to create a holistic, person centred experience, by using acupuncture, holistic therapies, nutrition and lifestyle advise, with the aim to bring balance back to the body and mind.
